HISTORIC ROUTE 66 gallery I (this page)

America's favorite highway, from Springfield, west through Halltown, and continuing through Carthage, Webb City, and Joplin, Mo., Historic Route 66 passes within minutes of many small towns and places of interest for travelers. Some of the old buildings pictured in our gallery are from these small towns in Southwest Missouri.

East of Springfield, Historic 66 passes through many small towns, all of which proudly maintain their memories of Route 66, and welcome today's pilgrims as they travel the Old Historic Road. Many of our photographs are from the towns of Strafford, Northview, Marshfield, Niangua, Conway, and Phillipsburg.
